P3
L.O. Be able to produce footage, containing planned visual effects, for the 2-3 minute audio-visual sequence

The equipment we used was a DSLR Camera, a Tri-Pod, and a green screen.
When setting up the camera, we had to make sure that the focus was set to manual, the shot was framed correctly and wasn't blurry and that it wasn't over or underexposed.
The Tri-Pod had to be set up correctly and safely by having the legs pointed towards to floor so that no one was harmed by it.
The green screen was heavy and so had to be properly carried by at least two people as well as carefully set up so that it was not broken. When using the green screen, we had to make sure that there was not too much/not enough sunlight on it and that the actor was positioned correctly against it.

To make sure that the script was correctly followed, we had it saved onto our phones so that we could read it before recording a certain scene.
I couldn't get rid of the Drone HUD effect as I had used a dynamic link to After Effects and replaced the raw footage with the edited on in AE.
A) Setting Up Appropriate Equipment

The equipment we used was a DSLR Camera, a Tri-Pod, and a green screen.
When setting up the camera, we had to make sure that the focus was set to manual, the shot was framed correctly and wasn't blurry and that it wasn't over or underexposed.

B) Following the Script

To make sure that the script was correctly followed, we had it saved onto our phones so that we could read it before recording a certain scene.
C) Following Safe Working Practices
Before shooting, we had created a risk assessment of the set locations so that control measures could be put in place. Some of these included checking the area for any trip hazards such as branches and then clearing them, scouting for any potholes and making sure everyone was aware of their location so as not to trip or fall over them. We did not have any cables and so did not have to worry about tripping over them. The green screen was carried safely by members who were strong enough to carry it so that they were not harmed and the green screen wasn't broken.
D) Following Production Processes
During production, everyone was assigned a role/task to help film the scenes. The script and storyboard were on the set so that they could be followed and correct filming processes (asking if everyone is ready, calling the camera rolling, calling cut etc.) were followed while filming.
Once the footage was shot, it was labelled and shared between the editors. It was then edited into a rough draft using Adobe Premiere Pro before being cleaned up. The VFX were then made, the drone in MAYA, the Matte Painting in Photoshop and Premiere, and the opening title sequence in Premiere, and added into the edit. Lastly, the dialogue and Foley were recorded and added into the edit.
RAW Footage Edit
I couldn't get rid of the Drone HUD effect as I had used a dynamic link to After Effects and replaced the raw footage with the edited on in AE.
